"Egg" was recorded live on 14dec08 at the Pyramid Atlantic in Silver
Spring, Maryland. The date of the performance marked the tenth anniversary of the death of longtime collaborator and close friend Jhan Dean Egg (a.k.a. Haunted Toilet).

The performance was something of a ritual to conjure the energy of the live collaborations that BSI and Haunted Toilet enjoyed in the 1980s and 90s. In that respect it was a mad success: long passages of distorted, pounding rhythms and stabby electronics with swooning waves of vertigo trance drones.

This release contains the full live set without overdubs, and is dedicated to Jhan and Zen Hospice, San Francisco.
